RETURN!

Things are being altered a bit in terms of continuity so that the game might continue on and we can all get our Firefly on. The following bits are the rules for going on with play. If you have questions about individual points, just poke.

1. Episodic continuity officially ends with the rescue of Mason.
2. Anything that happened after that could've happened, just ask if you have points of play you'd like to keep.
3. After Mason's rescue, they did go to the Duck, but they only stayed a few days, then moved on.
4. They moved on to the planet of Paquin, where they took up with carnies.
5. The next six months or so was spent on Paquin in training.
6. They are still down a shuttle.
7. The ship is working, but it is just working.
8. If repairs aren't done soon, then the ship won't keep working too very much longer.
9. Once they're out of 'hiding' then they'll have to go find parts for long term fixes.
10. They're pretty much laying low and trying to fade into the background.

You are free at this point to play anything involving the few days on Regina and the six months on Paquin. Remember that Paquin is training time. If Eve or Mason sent you to do something, it probably was for a reason, even if you don't know what the reason was. 'That would be funny!' does count as a reason.

Episode 5 -- "On a Pale Horse" -- Part 1

Summary: The crew makes its way to the bosom of the Mucky Duck, and One-Eye's version of fine cuisine. Morven is struck by the bartender, while others merely feel the effects of his chili, but Eve is most affected by the news that waits for her.

It's an adventure! We're going on an adventure! Gastronomical delights are there to behold!Collapse )

[Kayfabe] QoS gets spoilers:

Hey! A few new spoilers to brighten your day!

Episode 5's going to see a lot of odd-couple matchups -- Layla gets a mission and the people set to help her are not who you'd expect, plus Morven seems to get mildly smitten with someone COMPLETELY unexpected. There's a subplot involving Fitzy's hydroponics, and another involving someone spotting the zebra, and rumors abound that Billie Jo's gives-candy-to-little-kids man will be pointed out.

But Episodes 6 and 7 are truly exciting. Are you ready for this?

Episode 6, the crew joins the circuses on Paquin for training, recovery, and vacation purposes after all the running around of previous episodes. Plot details are thus far held close to the chest, but the promo pics involve Layla performing trick-shooting, and a certain Billy Bangles the Yodelin' Rodeo Clown logo. Someone is getting shot out of a cannon; someone is getting drafted into a magic act; and someone is about to join the freak show. I wouldn't dream of telling who at this point!

Which brings us to Episode 7 - 'Wings and Wangs' -- in which we finally learn Thirteen's real name, and from all accounts, get to meet his family. We've got nothing but casting sides for a Sarah Wing Robson -- apparently Fitzy's big One True Love, by educated guesses -- and a number of members of the Robson family previously mentioned, in addition to Fitzy family members.

I've got some other vague information on casting information -- on one of these episodes, for one, there's a guest star who's playing someone following the crew for information -- but that's the scoop. Hope you enjoy! Speculate, speculate!

Episode 3 -- "If I Had a Boat" -- Part 2

Summary: The crew stops on the obscure little backwater known as Duncan's Moon to refuel, get supplies, and see Jeb and Eli off. Layla encounters an old friend, Deuce Quinlan Damarel, during a bad moment with some of the locals, and the crew meets and gains the assistance of Deuce's crewmate Morven in the grand hydroponic adventure. Eve is intrigued by Morven's thoughts on squirrel spy translators. A preacher thinks Cameron is evil. Allegedly gets supplies. Fun, fun, fun!

Careful, it might 'splode on you.Collapse )

Er... what is it, Miss Morven? It's buzzin'.Collapse )

Kayfabe: Possible Spoiler

So, I've heard from friends of friends of friends that Trixie might not be back. I wonder what's up with that. I haven't heard any fights between Bryce Dallas Howard and TPTB, anyone know what's up with that? Or has she just decided she's too good for TV?
